
Katherine Spry ventured to Minnesota and Wisconsin, where she worked as a mixed animal practitioner for three years.

She enjoys hiking and biking in her spare time.įollowing graduation from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991, Dr. Donovan lives with her husband and their two cats. Her clinical research projects have focused on endocrine diseases, including diabetes and hyperadrenocorticism, and have been published in veterinary journals.ĭr. She frequently lectures at national and international conferences as well as providing continuing education lectures on a variety of topics to local veterinarians and veterinary technicians. Donovan is a member of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and the American Veterinary Medical Association. She is skilled in a variety of endoscopic procedures, including bronchoscopy, gastrointestinal endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and cystoscopy.ĭr.

Donovan’s clinical interests are diverse and include interventional and minimally invasive procedures such as laser ablation of ectopic ureters, percutaneous cystolithotomy for bladder stones, tracheal stents for collapsing tracheas, and urethral stents and chemoembolization for urethral and prostatic tumors. Since her academic appointment, she has been in private practice in Seattle, WA, Burlington, VT, and Portland, OR.ĭr. Donovan worked as a clinical professor until 2010 at Auburn University.

Donovan completed her residency and passed the certification to become board certified in internal medicine.įollowing the completion of her residency, Dr. She received her degree in veterinary medicine from Tufts University in 2004, completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angel Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2005, and was accepted into a residency program in small animal internal medicine at Tufts University in 2005. Donovan is a board-certified specialist in small animal internal medicine.
